Made in Maniago, Italy—known as the city of knives—the FOX Ansø Flipper sports a truly unique design that’s suitable for a wide range of tasks. Made from Bohler N690Co stainless steel, it’s extremely resistant to corrosion and takes a good edge. The blade is unmistakably Ansø’s design, with a signature big-bellied profile, and at over 3 millimeters thick, it can take a beating in the field or in the workshop. Great for slicing, the exaggerated belly takes the brunt of the impact, while the elongated tip is suitable for piercing. The curve towards the hilt naturally pulls material into its grasp—which is great for cutting rope and twine. The concave spine is chamfered for thumb placement during detail work. To deploy it, simply press on the flipper tab.
