*** Please be advised that with all modifying, there comes a level of risk. This is an extreme heat process and with heat comes risk of warping, though not common, it can happen and by purchasing this service you hereby accept this potential risk. If you don't want to risk warping, please see our DLC service here ***
As a result of potential warping, we ask that you please send your ENTIRE KNIFE with your package when shipping it to us for this service. This will allow us to fit the scales or parts to the knife prior to leaving our shop so that we can do our best to correct any warping that may have taken place. Without having the knife in our hands to test fit, we have no way of knowing if the parts have warped to the point of causing issue or not.
With this service we have the ability to blacken or significantly darken your titanium parts from hardware to spacers, clips, and scales. Please advise, low grade titanium can potentially not go as dark.
This service can also be done to some stainless steel hardware, but please note that the end result may vary. We often see only a dark brown/bronzing with this technique when it comes to various stainless types.
Just used them to blacken my clip...
Requested they change the shiny bronze ano to a more discreet matte finish tumbled black. Perfect job and super quick return too. Thanks much :-) 5*****!
My working finish scale came out awesome and matched my black stonewashed knife perfectly. The turnaround time is always great. The guys at WOK never disappoint!
Not only do they reply quick to questions my ti blackening is perfect and a super quick turnaround
Guys did a beautiful job
This is a definite upgrade from the typical gray finish that comes with a lot of titanium framelocks. WoK/EDC GH performed this service on my Kansept Convict along with the stonewash option. Now the knife lives up to its name much more and it just looks super cool.
A great look for titanium!
I had the blackening with stonewash done on my Arius and love it. This looks great on so many different Titanium knives especially when you get the hardware colored to contrast nicely with the blackened scales.
Titanium Blackening on Grimsmo Norseman
My Grimsmo Norseman had a bit of an iridescent vibe that just wasn't working for me. Sent it to Way of Knife / EDC Gear House to have the scales and clip blackened, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Shipping instructions were straight forward, and Way of Knife / EDC Gear House sent updates to let me know when they received the knife, and when they shipped it back. Awesome experience.
