 This listing is for SPK owners who are looking for spa/maintenance services that keep your factor SPK warranty intact. Officially backed by Alex Steingraber, you can now have your SPK knives worked on without any warranty issues when following these guidelines. 

What's Allowed: 

 Currently, Alex Steingraber has approved the following work on his knives:

• General Spa Service - Your knife is fully broken down, all hardware and bearings or washers are in a heated ultrasonic bath, handles are cleaned, knife is reassembled with fresh lube, blue loctite and resharpened if requested.
• Sharpening Service - Utilizing our Wicked Edge Pro system, we will match factory angle, roll out any chips in the bevel and give you a nice new edge with your choice of our Working Edge (600Grit) or a Polished edge (1600+ Grit).
• Anodizing & Refinishing -  You are allowed to have your titanium parts anodized and refinished to your liking. This includes titanium anodizing, bead blasting, laser etching, blade finishes, orange peel texturing, and McNasty finish.
• DLC/Coating - At this time, SPK customers are allowed to coat hardware, clip, spacers, and handles only. No blades, no exceptions. 

 What's NOT Allowed:

 Any services altering the overall state of the knife (such as removing material) or that are not compatible with the SPK manufacturing process. You are allowed to buy said services, but they will immediately void your SPK warranty.

• No DLC Coating On Blades
• No Carving
• No Engraving (laser engraving/hand grip services)
• No Heat/Flame Anodizing On Handles
• No Barking Finish
