The blade of this elite knife is crafted from CPM® CRU-WEAR®—an air-hardening tool steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. The CRU-WEAR used in the blade of this knife is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, extremely homogeneous grain structure. To make it even more distinctive, this knife’s full-flat-ground PlainEdge™ blade is also cloaked in a black Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating.

Equally unique, the handle of this knife showcases smooth black G-10 scales. Precision machined to house the nested stainless steel liners that form the foundation of its high-strength Compression Lock® mechanism, they are also home to a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that offers a choice of left or right-side tip-up carry. To complement its DLC-coated blade, the clip and all other handle hardware also sport durable black coatings.
