Crucible® CPM® S90V® is a state-of-the-art powder metallurgy steel enriched with a high vanadium content that promotes the formation of hard vanadium carbides instead of chromium carbides. This unique alloy mix enhances the steel's wear resistance while allowing the free chromium to provide superior corrosion resistance. This knife's PlainEdge™ blade maximizes the potential of this high-performance steel with a full-flat grind, exceptional edge geometry, and an oversized Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening—even while wearing gloves.

The handle of this remarkable knife features a peel-ply textured carbon fiber front scale paired with a solid 6AL 4V titanium back scale. The titanium scale is meticulously machined to form the foundation of a high-strength R.I.L. mechanism. This highly refined lock features a stainless steel interface that ensures a long service life and does double duty as an overtravel stop.
