Description

With the Basic Creative Freedom Option, you're leaving your piece in our hands to do as we please - for the most part. Basic creative freedom includes at least 3 mods, excluding the more involved/pricier mods. You are guaranteed at least 3 modifications on your full knife, but often end up with 4-5. You get ONE piece of input which is something that you definitely DON'T want to see on the build. You cannot name a specific service you want done, that takes too much of the 'freedom' aspect away from us. If you know what you DO want then choose the a la cart mods and check out with those instead or add it to the cart to stack on top of your Creative Freedom order.  Multiple pieces of input will be ignored and we will choose one to abide by. Some mods that are included in the basic creative freedom are as follows:

  • Electro Anodizing
  • Specialty Finish Anodizing
  • All Blade Finishes (Excluding Laser Wash)
  • Heat Anodizing
  • Basic Lasering / Grip Mod for synthetic materials
  • Orange Peel
  • Jeweling
  • Carving (Scales/Blades)
  • Polished Edge Sharpening
  • Spine Rounding
  • Choil Mods
  • And More!

This package saves you anywhere from $40-$70+ typically depending on the mods received.

When choosing the Creative Freedom for single scale or tool, keep in mind we are unable to guarantee 3 mods due to the lack of modable real estate . This option is more for getting an overall face lift for that specific piece(s), but rest assured it will look sick. Carbon Fiber scales and other similar synthetics can sometimes be limited to mods due to the nature of their material shipping/delaminating/peeling in some fashion. Please consider this when choosing a knife to send in for customization work.

Disclaimer: We are not responsible for something you don't love. Yes, we are usually pretty easy going when it comes to addressing certain items you're not fond of, but overall, trust and creativity are what this option is all about. Rest assured, even if you don't like the outcome, you'll have a stunning piece of some sort that should move on the market without issue being it's unique profile. All sales are final on all Creative Freedom jobs.

***Must send knife in within 1 month or else your order is cancelled and payment is forfeited***

    The creative freedom package mod

Posted by Chad Hasty on Jan 27th 2021

Let me start by saying that what was done was done very well. But if I must be honest with you, it feels undone. I bought a protech sprint with the black aluminum 3D handle. What was done to the blade is cool, but the handle was ground down, that’s it. Now I’ve looked on your Instagram and your website and I have yet to find one example of handles being ground down and just left. They’ve all been carved, drilled, stained, anodized, something, but it was left. I was disappointed. Brand new knife and list sharpened as a service done, I feel like it was rushed, shortcutted, or something. It certainly wasn’t wasn’t going to blow anyone away. Go back and look at the picks, could have rock chipped the clip or something. In closing, I just feel that I was very specific in giving total creative freedom on this project. What was delivered was not at the standard that was described in the description of the creative freedom mod package. I don’t expect anything from these comments, I’m just being honest.

    Creative freedom package

Posted by Alejandro Padilla on Jan 23rd 2021

I got the creative freedom package for my Chaves Redencion. My favorite knife was just feeling a little old and was losing its luster. Jesus man! This thing came back with a vengeance! The green titanium with gold hardware looks battle tested. It looks like something Master Chief carries on his off days. It lost none of its snappy action and I’m in love with it all over again. I’m immediately sending another knife in.

    Outstanding

I am thrilled with the mod you just completed on my Quietcarry IQ. Transformed not only the look but the feel of the knife. I could not be more pleased with the result and the turnaround time was so quick. It’s my new favorite knife and I’ll be sending others.

    Stellar Work

Posted by Rob on Dec 5th 2020

I just got two creative pieces back, and am just taken back how awesome they look, because it really is phenomenal work. The fellas are friendly when you’re in the shop...but if you can’t make it, just pick this and roll with it...I can’t imagine being disappointed...especially since you have the opportunity to say what you absolutely don’t want to see.

    The satisfying mystery for mods.

Posted by Miranda B. on Dec 1st 2020

I love choosing the creative freedom package and letting the guys work their magic because I have yet to be let down, and I'm always impressed by what they come up with. Sure it's sometimes nerve-racking to put something you've spent money on into another's hands and say have at it, but you can always guarantee that they will leave you with a satisfying result. Plus they give the option to let them know if you truly do not want to see a specific mod done if you so choose. With risk comes reward :).
