Orange Peel Textured Titanium Finish (READ DETAILS)

Our Titanium Orange Peel Finish is a bold, traction improving surface treatment that transforms standard titanium into something a bit more aggressive, functional, and visually striking. Inspired by the naturally dimpled texture of citrus skin, this finish creates a dense field of controlled micro-texture across the surface, giving the material a rugged, industrial character while improving grip and tactile feedback.

Unlike smooth satin or polished titanium, the orange peel texture diffuses light in multiple directions, producing a subdued matte shimmer that shifts subtly with angle and anodizing color. The result is a finish that feels as good as it looks—purpose-built for users who want a more utilitarian, non-slip surface without sacrificing refinement.

This process also adds depth and character that becomes especially pronounced after anodizing, if done correctly.  However, it’s important to note that adding an Orange Peel texture can complicate the anodizing process. The increased surface irregularity tends to makes color consistency more challenging and can lead to more variation in tone across the surface.

For best results, this finish is often paired with our Laser Polished service prior to anodizing. Laser polishing helps refine high points and stabilize surface consistency, allowing for more predictable and even anodized coloration while still preserving the added feel of the orange peel texture.
