Titanium Spyderco SpydieChef Hardware Kit

The Spyderco SpydieChef is a favorite amongst the EDC community. With its super corrosion resistant blade and titanium handles, this baby is pretty great in the kitchen and in the water in general.. excluding the hardware. The dull black coated stock steel hardware can fade and rust overtime leaving you with a less than stellar look and who wants rust in the kitchen?? Luckily, your boys at Way of Knife & EDC Gear House got you covered! This exclusive grade 5 6AL4V titanium hardware kit will aid you in the fight against rust and corrosion while giving you another platform of customization, and who doesn't love that. Now you can add a pop of color or Matte Black to your SpydieChefs body and clip screws, barrel spacers, and yes even the lanyard tube! This TI set includes all that you need to turn your SpydieChef into the mean clean rust fighting machine it was designed to be! 

While this is a fairly straightforward install even for novice knife enthusiasts, there are some tips and tricks as well as a level of know how needed to install this kit. Please keep in mind that you'll be utilizing the stock pivot tube which can be unscrewed fairly easily by using 2 quality T8 drivers at the same time (one holding still, the other spinning the pivot free), or removing the pivot tube with the screw on it, placing the locking flat side of the pivot into a set of pliers or vice grips and twisting it counter clockwise.  

The barrel spacers can be snug when installing the first time as we wanted tight tolerances during manufacturing. If the install is too difficult or you're afraid of damaging your parts and/or knife, please be advised that you can send it back to us for free install, just send all parts needed for install to us (address is on the top of the home page) and we'll take care of it. Otherwise, the barrel spacers can be installed by placing the D-Locking pivots into the handle first, and pressing firmly on the scales together to seat the other side into the handle properly. There should be no space between where the spacers meet the handles, from there, screw the body screws in. If you have any issues, please contact us via the site, fb, or IG. 

Please note that disassembling your knife may alter your Spyderco warranty, please check with them if that is of a concern to you. These hardware kits are designed from OEM specs and should fit your Spyderco SpydieChef just fine utilizing the tips and methods noted above. This hardware is designed specifically for the Spyderco SpydieChef, we do not know if this will fit other Spydercos.
